We are back to Fremont St for the third session of photographing people. Here we find an interesting mix of tourists, locals, workers and homeless folks. Since our last visit, several new businesses have opened, at least two restaurants and a toy store, plus there is work in progress to improve and renovate other establishments. We started with a hearty breakfast at the Hash A Go Go in the Plaza where reneovations are nearing completion. The Golden Gate is scheduled for a new tower and refurbishment to its existing space. The Lady Luck will be remodeled and reopen with a new name. The future is looking brighter for the Fremont Street area.Selected images from weekly assignments for the Las Vegas Prime Document class at CSN

LAS VEGAS PRIME DOCUMENT
This semester, our class varies its format in that we must shoot all images with the same "prime" lens. Initially, I found it challenging to avoid the instinct to "zoom" the lens to frame the picture. My lens of choice is the Canon 100m 2.8L macro on my Canon 7D. As before, we visit a different Las Vegas site each week to document what we find with our cameras.
