Las Vegas Prime Document





LAS VEGAS PRIME DOCUMENT



This semester, our class varies its format in that we must shoot all images with the same "prime" lens. Initially, I found it challenging to avoid the instinct to "zoom" the lens to frame the picture. My lens of choice is the Canon 100m 2.8L macro on my Canon 7D. As before, we visit a different Las Vegas site each week to document what we find with our cameras.

October 20, 2011 Fashion Show Mall




We  met outside  the Fashion Show Mall for our pre-shoot briefing.  This  is the second  week  of  photographing people.   Several of us headed down  Las Vegas Blvd  past the Mirage and  TI  and then crossed  over to the Venetian,  where I found  most of my subjects.
